National Signature Programs

A defining characteristic of Zeta women is our steadfast dedication to service within our communities. Each year, members of Zeta Phi Beta contribute thousands of hours through our National Signature Programs and innovative chapter initiatives, creating a lasting and meaningful impact in communities nationwide.

Z-HOPE (Zetas Helping Other People Excel)

Z-HOPE is a dynamic and comprehensive outreach initiative designed to empower participants by promoting health-conscious lifestyle choices throughout their lives. Building on the Sorority’s rich legacy of service, Z-HOPE addresses the evolving needs of diverse communities, offering support that fosters well-being and resilience across generations.

Stork’s Nest



Stork’s Nest is a collaborative prenatal education program led by Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., the March of Dimes, and community partners. The program encourages expectant mothers to attend essential prenatal care appointments by offering incentives and support, ensuring that babies have the healthiest start possible in life.

Z-NEF (Zeta-National Educational Foundation)

The National Educational Foundation of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization, was established to serve charitable and educational purposes. The Foundation’s primary mission is to award scholarships to deserving students pursuing higher education. Additionally, it conducts community-based educational programs aimed at enhancing individual and community living standards, supports the educational and vocational development of women, and engages in research that aligns with the Foundation’s goals of fostering academic achievement and empowerment.

March of Dimes – March For Babies

The women of PKZ have proudly participated in the March for Babies annually since 2008. Over the years, PKZ has contributed thousands of dollars to support the fight against prematurity and to promote the health of babies. The Phi Kappa Zeta Scholarship Fund was established in January 2008, with an additional Archonette Scholarship added in October 2022. The scholarship program requires a written essay and an interview with the scholarship committee.

Annual event with Literacy Volunteers of America to support literacy development in the community

Book distribution at the Manassas African American Heritage Festival, encouraging literacy among youth

Tutoring services and event support to assist youth in academic and personal development

Events and engagement with residents of local assisted living homes, providing support and companionship.
